Build-A-Bear

Before Scott left, I thought it would be a good idea to make stuffed animals with his voice recorded inside them. We went to the mall and each girl picked out a toy, then Scott recorded a message for each of them and we stuffed it inside. Them they fluffed up the animals and dressed them. It was really fun. Sara was not into it, and she tried to escape out into the mall, but otherwise everyone had fun! Now when the girls miss Scott they can press the buttons and hear him say he loves them. I think it is working well. Sara still doesn't love hers. it is a rabbit which after a while we have figured out she calls "foo foo" ( as in little bunny foo foo, a favorite song around here)

The day before Scott left, Isabel's Joy school had a field trip to the pumpkin patch at Thanksgiving Point, so we took Abby out of school and went. it was fun, they have all kinds of activities, from panning for treasures and fossils, to a huge bounce pillow, and baby pig races. They had a lot of fun, but then we hurried home to be with Scott.
